I love this poem! It doesn’t stick to the traditional haiku rules, but it is still amazingly beautiful. Haiku generally has a pattern of 5 syllables in the first line, 7 syllables in the second line and 5 syllables in the last line. For example:
Twilight in her eyes.
Delightful surprise; This child
is indeed a prize.
